LeaseLock offers two kinds of paid products: LeaseLock Pro, a monthly subscription for Massachusetts landlords, and Tenant Lease Reviews, a one-time report on a single lease. Different rules apply to each.
You can cancel your subscription anytime from your billing portal. When you cancel, your account stays active through the end of the billing period you've already paid for, and you won't be charged again.
We don't offer partial-month or pro-rated refunds for subscriptions. If you forgot to cancel and were just charged for a new month, email us at support@leaselock.app within 7 days of the charge and we'll usually refund it as a courtesy.
If LeaseLock Pro has a significant outage or a feature you were paying for stops working, get in touch. We'll make it right, either with account credit or a refund.
A Tenant Lease Review is a one-time $29 purchase for a single lease document. Because each review uses real compute time, storage, and our review infrastructure, these are generally non-refundable once the report has been generated and delivered.
That said, you're entitled to a full refund within 7 days of purchase if the report failed to generate because we couldn't read your lease document, the report is substantially incomplete because of a bug or outage on our end, or you were double-charged.
You're not entitled to a refund if the report generated successfully and you simply don't like what it says, your lease turned out not to be covered by Massachusetts law or the tenancy type we review, or you changed your mind after receiving the report.
We're a small team and we take quality seriously. If you feel your review was genuinely wrong, email us and we'll take another look before deciding on a refund.
Email support@leaselock.app from the address on your account. Include the date of the charge and, for a tenant review, the report ID or the email you received with the report link. We'll respond within 2 business days.
Refunds are issued back to the original payment method. Depending on your card issuer, it can take 5-10 business days for the money to appear on your statement.
LeaseLock provides compliance tools and lease analysis; it does not provide legal advice and is not a substitute for a licensed attorney. If you're in an active dispute, facing eviction, or unsure what to do, talk to a lawyer. A refund policy is about the price you paid us; it's not a comment on whether the review's conclusions were legally sufficient for your situation.
